This scholarship honors the late Michael Best, who passed away in 2020 at the age of 43, to serve as a lasting reminder of Mike's passion for hospitality and commitment to nurturing feature leaders in the industry. Michael was larger than life and was always known to leave a room feeling uplifted and lighthearted. Michael was a long time Marriott Vacation Club associate and had a love for the Pittsburgh Steelers and anything PITT Sports. He enjoyed golf even though he described himself as golf challenged.
