Chairing is Caring (CIC) is an exciting art project celebrating local artists and telling stories of many diverse communities that are part of Waterdown Village. Vibrantly painted Muskoka chairs are on display in outdoor gallery locations at sponsor businesses for the summer. Each chair focuses on a theme as interpreted by the artist and is aligned with a non-profit organization supporting equity-deserving groups. Collectively, the series highlights the compassionate and collaborative soul of Waterdown Village.
We encourage everyone to look for the chairs and enjoy the view from different parts of our neighbourhood. Don't forget to bid for on your favourite for a chance to own a unique piece of original art and support a local charity.
HST applies and will be added to sale price.
All sales are final. No refunds will be made once credit card charge has been processed.
Chairs must be picked up in person from the BIA Office (20 Main St. N., Unit 2), or from the BIA sponsor business location in Waterdown.
Chairs must be picked up within 10 days post-auction.
Local deliveries (within a 15 km radius) MIGHT be possible at an additional charge, to be determined. Contact information for pick-up arrangements will be confirmed with successful bidders at auction close.
