Sitka Music Festival
2025 Winter Classics Auction
Sitka Music Festival,
now entering its 53rd season, is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation with a
mission of providing the finest classical music experience in Alaska through
performance and education. Under the direction of Grammy-winning Artistic
Director Zuill Bailey, Sitka Music Festival brings acclaimed classical
musicians from around the world to perform in Alaska. To date, SMF has brought
performances to 42 Alaskan communities, and our most recent season featured
three Grammy-winning classical musicians.
Annually, Sitka Music
Festival presents approximately 80 events and serves over 6,000 Alaskans.
Almost half of our programmed events are community centered and free to the
public. These include school visits that serve over 1,000 Alaskan students each
year, retirement home visits, pop-up concerts, audience education events, and a
lunch-series.
The 2025 Winter
Classics Auction is an annual online silent auction, which will run February
7th to February 23rd. The start of the auction coincides with SMF’s annual
Winter Classics concert series, which includes three classical chamber music
concerts in Anchorage, as well as performances in Sitka, Ketchikan, Wasilla,
and Fairbanks. In addition, we will host related community and educational

The proceeds of this
auction will directly support our operations budget in furthering our mission. Thank

Q: Where did all these items come from?
A: Most of these items are
generous donations to the Sitka Music Festival, a registered 501(c)(3)
nonprofit corporation, to help us raise funds to support our mission of
providing the finest classical music experience in Alaska through performance
and education.
Q: Can I return items?
A: No. All sales are final and
nonrefundable. (But we trust you will be pleased!)
Q: How will I receive the item(s) I have won?
A: For an item that can be
delivered by email (e.g., PDF gift certificates), we will send it to the email
address you used to sign up for this auction website. For physical items, we
prefer to arrange pick up if possible, but if you need to have an item shipped,
we will arrange that cost with you after the auction. The buyer will be
responsible for any shipping costs. The Sitka Music Festival will not be
responsible for any damages that may occur during shipping.
If a physical item requires pick
up or shipping, the description for that item will include a note at the bottom,
indicating both the pick up/shipping requirement and the item’s current
location.
