Under the leadership of Jean "Happy" Hawkins GFUMC Preschool opened it's doors in the fall of 1980 to love, teach, and share the word of God with all the little ones who entered.
Jean has been a member of GFUMC 'forever' and is well-loved by all. This scholarship fund was created on behalf of families in the community facing hardships in honor of Happy's many years of service. Funds raised in excess of the scholarships needed will be used to purchase supplies for our preschool classrooms.
